Hwy 224 closure

I saw a one line mention in Willamette Week about the Oregon Dept. of Transportation saying Hwy 224 could open by May 1, 2022. I called the Detroit Forest Service Ranger Station and a woman there said they expect it to be closed until Oct. 2022. She also said all the campgrounds between Detroit and Breitenbush Hot Springs would be closed this summer as well. The campgrounds on the other side of the lake, like Hoover and South Shore would be open.
